Samsung is reportedly ahead of schedule with its development of the Galaxy S25 series, particularly focusing on the high-end Galaxy S25 Ultra model. Recent leaks, including detailed renders, suggest that Samsung is currently experimenting with four different prototypes of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, each showcasing variations in frame size and bezel thickness.
These four prototypes of the Galaxy S25 Ultra are said to be under consideration by Samsung, who seems to be weighing its options regarding the final design. An anonymous source provided PandaFlash with images that reveal the potential designs of these models.
Each render highlights unique differences in the bezels and frame dimensions. For example, the first render on the left displays a frame similar to the Galaxy S24 Ultra but with noticeably slimmer bezels. The next render shows an even more reduced frame size, maintaining a consistent screen-to-body ratio.
The leaked images indicate that Samsung plans to retain the punch-hole camera design for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, positioned similarly to the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The differences between the Galaxy S24 Ultra and the upcoming S25 Ultra seem minimal at first glance, with both models continuing the rectangular design theme Samsung has used in recent years.
This consistency in design means that differentiating between the two models might be challenging unless they are offered in varying colours. Moreover, there are limits to the design alterations that Samsung's team can feasibly implement.
In terms of specifications, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is rumoured to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset exclusively. However, due to the higher cost of this chipset compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, Samsung might consider a dual-chipset strategy for this flagship, potentially including the Exynos 2500 as well.
This decision hinges on the Exynos chipset matching the performance and efficiency of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. While the post on X does not confirm which design Samsung will finalise, we aim to provide our readers with all the latest updates as they become available, so keep an eye out for more news.
