Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy S25 Ultra, bringing significant display improvements over the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

While the new model retains the design of its predecessors and M13 OLED panel, it fixes two major screen issues that affected last year’s flagship, making the S25 Ultra a more refined and visually appealing device.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra features the same 2600 nits brightness, but it addresses the grainy effect at low brightness that was reported in the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Galaxy S25 Ultra: Display upgrades over Galaxy S24 Ultra

According to Ice Universe, a renowned tipster, the previous model’s anti-reflective coating caused the display to look grainy in dim lighting, which Samsung has now resolved, making the S25 Ultra’s display smoother and clearer.

Another substantial improvement falls under the segment of colour transitions of the smartphone. The S24 Ultra had visible gradient lines when shifting between colours, which affected the overall visual experience. The S25 Ultra now delivers a seamless colour transition, ensuring better display quality.

Additionally, the new Ceramic Gorilla Glass Armour 2 provides improved anti-reflective protection and better durability. Users of the S24 Ultra had reported that the anti-reflective layer started peeling off after six months of use, but Samsung claims this issue has been addressed in the S25 Ultra.
