While the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to launch by the start of next year, recent rumours suggest that the handset will be getting an overdue ultrawide camera upgrade.
According to Ice Universe, a prominent tipster, the S25 Ultra will have a 50 MP ultrawide camera, using the Samsung ISOCELL JN3 sensor with a 0.7um pixel size.

Unfortunately, this will be the only camera upgrade that the device is going to have as the main camera will remain unchanged.
In this way, the S25 main camera will remain similar to its predecessor Galaxy S24 Ultra contradicting a previous rumour that claimed the 3x telephoto camera would be upgraded.
Additionally, the device is expected to exchange the 12MP sensor that’s been used with an ultrawide lens for a while now, for a new 50MP sensor, competing smartphones from brands like OnePlus and Google.
The S25 Ultra has also been rumoured to be equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset worldwide. The flagship is tipped to get more RAM than its predecessor, a larger screen with smaller bezels, and the same battery capacity as the S24 Ultra.
Moreover, the S25 Ultra will be smaller in every dimension at 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2 mm, meaning the screen might be a little smaller compared to its predecessor.
