The frenzy around Apple's latest iPhone 17 seems to have shifted to its upcoming competitor from Samsung, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, as leaked CAD renders have emerged, providing a tantalising glimpse of the Galaxy S25 successor set for launch early in 2026.

The design of the S26 Ultra is a testament to Samsung's refined and streamlined approach, as its display features a flat panel with slim, even bezels, while the corners appear more rounded. This makes up for a smoother, more polished aesthetic form factor.

The rear camera of the Galaxy S26 Ultra has also been slightly refreshed, with three cameras nestled in a pill-shaped module and a fourth lens situated to the right.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to be equipped with a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, or potentially an Exynos 2600 variant for select markets.

The device will boast a larger 5,000 mAh battery with 60W wired charging support. The display is rumoured to grow slightly, reaching a spacious 6.9 inches.

Coming to the camera forefront, the S26 Ultra might have a 200MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, a 10MP 3x optical zoom camera, and the same 5x optical zoom lens found in the S25 Ultra.

With the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra coming closer, tech enthusiasts are eager to see how Samsung's latest S26 Ultra will redefine the smartphone landscape in the coming year.
