
Samsung has officially rolled out the October 2024 security patch for its latest Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 devices in the US.
The update comes shortly after the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra October 2024 update that fixed 42 security vulnerabilities.

The October 2024 update for Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 is approximately 440MB in size but may vary depending on the devices.

The update sports the build number F741BXXS1AXI3 addressing a total of 42 vulnerabilities, out of which 30 are related to Android OS, while 12 are specific to Galaxy devices. The update is available for both unlocked and carrier-locked devices in the US.
While Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 latest update is addressing security vulnerabilities, these devices are expected to receive seven major Android OS upgrades with the release of One UI 7, next year.
Alongside the aforementioned devices, Samsung is also rolling out the October 2024 security patch to the fifth-generation foldable, including the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 which focuses on bug fixes and security enhancements.
