Samsung One UI 7: Release date and eligible devices

One UI 7 is claimed to be the next significant chapter in the Samsung software upgrade universe. Android 15-based One UI 7 is said to introduce intriguing features and user interface (UI) tools, and before its official launch, Gadinsider has compiled an overview of the forthcoming operating system (OS) version for Samsung gadgets.

Notably, the Samsung Developer Conference (SDC) is set to happen on October 3, 2024 (Thursday), while it’s claimed that the South Korean tech giant might reveal One UI 7.0-related news.

Android 15

Samsung is expected to launch the One UI 7.0 based on Android 15. Google’s new Android version is going through various beta tests including the Quarterly Progress Report (QPR) builds. It is likely to go stable this month.

The South Korean tech giant is likely to initiate the One UI 7.0 beta program after the stable release of Android 15. The company may release the One UI 7 beta on SDC 2024.

One UI 7.0 eligible devices

Samsung is claimed to roll out One UI 7.0 beta and stable builds beginning from its flagship Galaxy models.

Notably, the Galaxy S24 series along with the Galaxy Z Fold/Flip 6 models received seven years of update support. On the other hand, previous models of the Galaxy family remain captive to the four years of major OS and five years of security updates.
