Samsung is gearing up to launch the One UI 8 beta based on Android 16 for its latest flagship phones, with rollout dates now hinted at through a recent leak.

According to trusted tipster @tarunvats33 on X (formerly Twitter), Samsung will open beta access for the Galaxy S24 series on August 13, while the Galaxy S23 series will follow on September 8.

There has been strong anticipation for Android 16 on Samsung devices, especially for the Galaxy S lineups. While it was widely expected that the S24 and S23 would be among the first to receive the One UI 8 beta, this new leak is the first to pinpoint the dates.

Samsung seems to be taking a more structured and timely approach this time around. Unlike One UI 7, which faced multiple delays, One UI 8 is reportedly progressing smoothly.

The company has also changed its software release strategy, now aligning major Android updates with the Galaxy S flagship timeline to ensure better stability and user experience.

As of now, there’s no official word on when other Galaxy devices, such as the A series, Z Fold, or Z Flip, will join the beta program. Samsung is expected to reveal a wider rollout plan once testing on its flagship models is underway.

Until then, Samsung Galaxy S24 and S23 users can prepare for an early hands-on experience with Android 16 through the One UI 8 beta, starting this August.
