Samsung is currently rolling out the One UI 7 update to its Galaxy S23 lineup and Galaxy Tab S10 lineup in the US.
One UI is Samsung's own software that runs on top of Android, making Galaxy phone and tablet usage easier and better. It brings new features, a fresh design, and security improvements.
Samsung One UI rolls out
Having launched the update in South Korea last week, Samsung has begun sending it to US users ahead of schedule.
Beginning April 24, the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra in the US received the One UI 7 update. This follows only a few days after the same update was rolled out in Samsung's native country, South Korea.
The Galaxy S23 lineup — Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra — also began receiving the One UI 7 update in the US from April 25.
Moreover, the update is currently only showing up for carrier-locked handsets, however, and not yet for unlocked models of these phones.
Samsung One UI 7 availability
The One UI 7 upgrade offers a streamlined appearance, accelerated performance, and additional security for Galaxy users. Samsung will also release the upgrade to its Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 devices within the next short while.
These upgrades were slated to be issued in May according to the original plan, but it is finally taking place late in April as a welcome bonus for users.
