Samsung, a South Korean tech giant, unveiled its powerful smartphone: Samsung Galaxy F55 5G in India on Monday. The company confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy F55 is the lightest and slimmest vegan leather handset in India.

The Samsung Galaxy F55 5G's 8GB RAM with 128GB storage space variant is available for INR 26,999 in India, while the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage space and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage space variants cost INR 29,999 and INR 32,999.

Moreover. the Samsung Galaxy F55 5G is available in two colours: Apricot Crush and Raisin Black. It will be offered for early sale in India kicking off at 7pm IST on May 27 via Flipkart.

The Samsung Galaxy F55 5G features a 6.55-inch full-HD+ (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) Super AMOLED Plus display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage space. The phone sports up to 1TB of expandable storage through a microSD card.
The device runs on Android 14-based One UI 6.1. It is confirmed to be featured with four major Android updates and five years of security upgrades.
Moreover, the handset boasts a 50 MP main lens sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, and a 2 MP camera. The selfie camera has a 50 MP sensor. The Samsung Galaxy F55 5G sports a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging.
The Samsung Galaxy F55 5G provides 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, Galileo, QZSS, NFC, and USB Type-C connectivity. For security, it features an in-display fingerprint sensor and Knox Security software. The dimensions measured 163.9 x 76.5 x 7.8mm and weighs of 180 grams.
