Shortly after the release of the Galaxy S24 FE’s first software update, Samsung released an October security update in the United States for the Galaxy S24 series, fixing security vulnerabilities and bug fixes.

The October 2024 security update is rolling out to the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. Notably, this is the first update the Galaxy S24 series is getting following the One UI 6.1.1 update in September.

Samsung's October patch fixes 42 vulnerabilities

Samsung has asked its customers to identify the update by checking the final four characters of its build number i.e. AXI1. The 442.22MB firmware size indicates it is only a security and bug-fixing update.
