Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) on Friday announced a temporary suspension of gas supply in various sectors of Islamabad due to maintenance work on the main pipeline.
Taking to Facebook, the company said that gas supply will remain suspended from November 8, 9:30pm to November 9, 10am.
SNGPL noted that the suspension is necessary for smooth maintenance work on the main pipeline at Shaheen Chowk, E-9, Islamabad.
As a result of this maintenance activity, the gas supply will be affected in several sectors, including E-7, E-8, E-9, E-10, and F-8. SNGPL advised citizens to make alternative arrangements and use gas appliances with caution once the supply is restored.
The company assured that efforts will be made to complete the work as quickly as possible to minimise disruption.
