Stalker 2 release delayed again, arriving November 20

Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, from GSC Game World was expected to release on September 5 but unfortunately, Stalker 2 release date has been delayed again till November 20 after experiencing several delays since its announcement in 2020.

It has been under the spotlight because of its intriguing interface and earlier reports of its delay.

What is the reason behind its delay?

The developer addressed the reason behind its delay was to fix “unexpected anomalies.” According to GSC Game World, “We know you might be tired of waiting, and we truly appreciate your patience.”

Additionally, the game is all set to get a Developer Deep Dive video on August 12, and one of the developers further said “This detailed update will include exclusive interviews, lots of new footage, and a full video walk-through of one of the game quests.”

As mentioned earlier, Stalker 2 has experienced several delays, as GSC Game World previously scheduled it by announcing a “final” release date of September 5 in January.

But, it got delayed once again leading to the user’s disappointment, because firstly, The Ukrainian developer scheduled it to release in April 2022, after disclosing another gameplay Stalker 2 trailer at E3 2021.

Moreover, this game’s production was significantly affected by Russia's invasion of Ukraine, leading to extreme difficulties for GSC Game World workers, who were positioned on the frontlines of the combat.

According to tipsters, developers are working to add support for Stalker 2 PS5; however, it’s just a rumour and needs to be confirmed ahead of its release.

Stalker 2 multiplayer mode

Gaming enthusiasts were curious whether Stalker 2 would be available in single or multiplayer mode. To soothe the frayed nerves of Stalker 2 fanatics, a Redditor familiar with the matter claimed that “there will be basic multiplayer in arenas like in the old ones, with classic modes like team deathmatch.

It will be released after the single player is fully released and patched so no date is announced. Do not expect anything like a coop mode in the open world, the Devs already confirmed it won't happen."
