Capcom has officially shared Resident Evil Requiem gameplay details, revealing more about its dual-protagonist system, special edition offerings, and partnerships with Hamilton and Porsche.
The developer company said that Resident Evil Requiem includes FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft and veteran DSO agent Leon Kennedy as its two main characters for the players, as they can switch between first-person and third-person perspectives at any time during gameplay
Leon focus on action-oriented combat, using different weapons and can perform close-quarters attacks with a new hatchet weapon.
Meanwhile, in the Resident Evil Requiem gameplay, Grace allows players to play survival horror, as she begins in a zombie-filled sanatorium where players must decide which enemies to fight and which to avoid.
Initially, Grace starts with limited resources and inventory space, decisions carry real consequences. She also has access to the Requiem assault revolver, a powerful weapon with limited ammunition.
The zombies in Resident Evil Requiem gameplay exhibit unusual behaviours tied to their past lives—a chef continues cooking, a singer keeps singing, and a janitor endlessly polishes mirrors. Players can use these patterns to their advantage.
