Locally assembled Suzuki Every in Pakistan has embraced a great hit in the local market. The newly launched Every is the replacement for the discontinued Suzuki Bolan.
It is said that Suzuki Every is more advanced, better and up-to-date than the 70’s Bolan, and technology arrives at a price value. The company discontinued the older Bolan at a price of Rs19 lacs and this new Every has been launched with the starting price of Rs27.499 lacs for base VX and Rs28 lacs for top-line VXR variant.
Gadinsider has compiled a detailed comparison of Suzuki Bolan and Every, so you’ll know what you’re getting in the new replacement after paying Rs8.5-9 lacs more.
Suzuki Bolan
Suzuki Bolan has ruled for 40 years in Pakistan’s microvan market and remained the number one option for commercial commuters. It was said to be an all-rounder, very rugged vehicle that can be used for almost any task, including pick-and-drop, cargo delivery, and many more.
However, it was a basic automobile, with literally no improved tech and nothing modern. It was just a ladder frame chassis on which there were metal panels, one engine, seats, and the dashboard.
Suzuki Every
Pakistan Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) developed Suzuki Every for commercial and family use, particularly the top-of-the-line VXR variant, which is more designed for family use. The integration of airbags, MP3 players, AC, ABS, EBD, and anti-pinch windows makes it more like a family car focused on those who have a low budget but are required to have a spacious microvan for their kids and picnics.

The VX variant could be a great choice for use as a school pickup van or as a cargo van for in-city deliveries.
Difference of chassis
The major difference between the Suzuki Every and Bolan is the chassis. Bolan is developed on the Ladder frame, while the Everyone is designed on the Monocoque chassis as noticed as both are opposite.
A Ladder frame is a separate structure onto which the Bolan’s body is mounted and gives strong durability, specifically for heavy loads. Moreover, it can bear more weight — even overloading isn’t an issue for this chassis — as it uses a square-shaped rail.
It’s very rigid and doesn’t provide flexibility — ride quality in ladder frame chassis cars is often very tough.
