Tecno is set to show off its new concept smartphone, the Tecno Spark Slim, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025, which is scheduled from March 3 to March 6, 2025, in Barcelona.

The Tecno Spark Slim boasts an impressive 5.75mm thickness, making it the world's thinnest smartphone.

Tecno Spark Slim specifications (expected)

The Tecno Spark Slim sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with curved edges, offering 1224p resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.

Tecno has claimed that the handset achieved a peak brightness of 4,500nits, which will help with visibility in bright outdoor conditions.

Backed by a robust 5,200mAh battery, the Tecno Spark Slim supports 45W fast charging.

However, Tecno has not revealed the Spark Slim's processor, it is unlikely to be a flagship-class platform due to the device's compact frame.

The phone's design is remarkably streamlined, with a camera bump that adds only a minor amount of thickness. The device features dual 50MP cameras and a 13MP front-facing camera.

The Tecno Spark Slim will be on display at the upcoming MWC 2025, where visitors can experience the device firsthand.

Although it is unclear whether the Tecno Spark Slim will ever be commercially available, its cutting-edge features signal a step towards smartphone innovation and rival the likes of Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge and the rumoured iPhone 17 Slim.
