Toyota 2025 HiLux features
The 2025 Toyota HiLux is loaded with performance, comfort, and safety upgrades across all its variants. It is powered by the reliable 1GD-FTV 2.8-litre turbo-diesel engine, paired with manual or automatic transmissions, with the V-Active 48V system fitted to select SR and SR5 4×4 models for smoother driving and increased efficiency.
Additionally, off-road enthusiasts have Multi-Terrain Select, downhill assist, and locking rear differential on 4×4 models, with SR5 variants receiving a comfort-tuned rear suspension. Inside, there's been some solid reworks: a 12.3-inch touchscreen offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with digital instrument clusters with USB-C ports throughout.
WorkMate models get fabric seats and manual air-conditioning, while SR trims add upgraded cloth upholstery, inductive charging, and an eight-speaker audio system. Meanwhile, the SR5 variants bring heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and a 12.3-inch digital cluster.
Safety comes enhanced with autonomous emergency braking, lane departure alert, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control, along with increased functionality in Toyota Connected Services for crash notification and remote monitoring.
On the outside of this vehicle are LED lighting, alloy wheels, side steps, privacy glass, recovery points front and rear; LED light bars above the windscreen or tub, and integrated towing kits, making the HiLux a versatile vehicle intended to work and play.
