Toyota Urban Cruiser, the company's latest electric vehicle (EV), has been debuted at the 2025 Brussels Motor Show in the United Kingdom (UK).
The latest model comes to be the carmaker’s second EV exclusive to the European market.
Toyota Urban Cruiser EV features
The Toyota Urban Cruiser is available with two lithium-iron-phosphate battery choices:
- A 61kWh battery with an option for all-wheel drive (AWD).
- A relatively small 49 kWh battery with an FWD drivetrain.
The Toyota Urban Cruiser EV is a half-foot shorter than the Toyota Corolla Cross, the smallest SUV currently available in the US market. It measures 168.7 inches long.
According to the company, this compact SUV wheelbase is about 5 inches longer than the European-only Yaris Cross.
The Urban Cruiser also features a new EV platform similar to the India-based Suzuki e-Vitara. The SUV comes with three power outputs.
Inside, the vehicle offers classic SUV elements, including a horizontal instrument panel and elevated seats for better visibility.
Moreover, ambient lighting with 12 customisable colour options adds to the interior’s premium feel.
Toyota Urban Cruiser safety features
The SUV also features advanced safety features, including pre-collision systems, adaptive cruise control, and lane departure alerts.
Toyota Urban Cruiser pricing and availability
The Toyota Urban Cruiser EV will be available in the UK markets in the third quarter of 2025, and its starting price is rumoured to exceed GBP 30,000.
