Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan Dr Irfan Neziroglu on Wednesday opened the Anadolu Creator Lab at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST).

This high-tech facility lab is constructed with the assistance of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) and is a part of efforts to enhance tech education and innovation in Pakistan.

Situated within the National Science and Technology Park (NSTP), the lab will be used to enable students and researchers to develop modern technologies.

It will accommodate projects in robotics, electronics, coding, algorithmic thinking, and product design.

Addressing the ceremony, Ambassador Neziroglu stated: "The Anadolu Creator Lab demonstrates our strong commitment to enabling Pakistan's growth in science and technology. The lab will provide young people with the ability to create and discover."

The occasion was graced by Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan, NUST Rector Dr Muhammad Zahid Latif, and the Ambassador of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, accompanied by students and staff.

Dr Neziroglu also pointed towards other academic endeavours being funded by Turkiye in Pakistan. Alone in the previous year, TIKA has contributed towards the establishment of labs on quantum optics, high-tech media, and zoology in large Pakistani universities.

He stated that these projects demonstrate Turkiye's solid commitment to youth development and scientific advancement in Pakistan. "Our relationship with Pakistan is founded on everlasting brotherhood," the ambassador stated. "For 78 years, our friendship has remained strong despite all adversity."

The Anadolu Creator Lab at NUST will be a pivotal hub for technology innovation, academic collaboration, and youth empowerment between Turkiye and Pakistan.
