
Vivo is gearing up to launch its V30 series in India. The lineup will feature a base Vivo V30 and a Vivo V30 Pro. The base model was initially introduced in select global markets earlier in February, suggesting similar specifications for the Indian variant. The Pro version is set to debut in Thailand on February 28.
The official launch date for the Vivo V30 series in India is confirmed for March 7, at midnight IST. A microsite for the phones is live on Flipkart, confirming their availability on the platform. Three colour options will be available: Andaman Blue, Classic Black, and Peacock Green.
The Vivo V30 Pro will boast a triple rear camera setup with OIS-supported portrait cameras and Vivo's signature Aura Light feature. Additionally, the cameras will be Zeiss-backed for enhanced quality.
The global variant of the Vivo V30 features a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support, and a 6.78-inch 120Hz full-HD AMOLED display. Its primary camera is a 50-megapixel OV50E sensor with OIS support and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and Aura Light unit. The front camera also holds a 50-megapixel sensor.

According to Gadgets360, the Vivo V30 Pro is speculated to be a rebranded version of the Vivo S18 Pro launched in China in December 2023. It's confirmed to feature a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup, possibly comprising a 50-megapixel Sony IMX920 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX816 portrait camera, and a third sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens.
The V30 Pro might be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, run Android 14-based FuntouchOS 14 out-of-the-box, and sport a 6.78-inch 120Hz full-HD+ AMOLED screen. It could also come with an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance and a 5,000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging support.
