Vivo is preparing to shake up the Indian smartphone market once again, this time with the soon-to-launch X200 FE, a phone that's emerging as a powerful but compact alternative to its flagship brothers.
Following weeks of rumours, new leaks have now revealed what to look out for in the X200 FE, a phone designed specifically for India and distinct from the X200 Pro Mini already available in China.
Vivo X200 FE specifications
The X200 FE is reported to have a 6.31-inch flat OLED screen with 1.5K resolution, a silky 120Hz refresh rate, and an under-display fingerprint reader.
Additionally, the phone may be driven by MediaTek's Dimensity 9300+ or potentially a new chip, the Dimensity 9400e, allegedly a tuned version of the 9300+.
Camera seems to be a priority area for Vivo X200 FE in this case. The phone is likely to have a 50MP primary sensor (Sony IMX921), a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x zoom (Sony IMX882), and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Selfies will not be ignored either, with a 50MP selfie camera on the cards.
Storage and memory variants will feature 12GB + 256GB and a flagship 16GB + 512GB option. The phone will also bear IP68 and IP69 ratings, providing extreme dust and water resistance, an unusual combination for this price segment.
The most notable thing about Vivo X200 FE is the battery; a whopping 6,500mAh one with 90W fast wired charging support. The phone will only weigh approximately 200 grams despite its large battery.
Vivo X200 FE price
As per rumours, the Vivo X200 FE will be released in July, and it will cost between INR 50,000 and INR 60,000. No word yet on if it will be available outside India, but based on the specs, it might create waves if it is.
