Vivo has formally started teasing its upcoming Vivo X300 series, and the first details have already got fans excited. The latest teaser images shared by Vivo's Product Manager Han Boxiao on Weibo confirmed that the flagship Vivo X300 Pro has achieved over 4 million points on AnTuTu benchmarks, faster than 99% of phones currently on the market.
The company has confirmed that the impressive performance is attributed to the yet-to-be-announced MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip.
Additionally, the X300 Pro only drained about 5% battery life during the benchmark test and showed a change in temperature of just 9.5°C, showing good thermal performance and efficiency, which is great news for gamers and heavy users.
Vivo X300 Pro specs
According to reports, Vivo is apparently reclassifying its standard Vivo X300 to a smaller device and placeholder, the X200 Mini, for the space. The Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro have both been rumoured to feature a Dimensity 9500 chipset to provide comparable flagship-enabled performance.
The Vivo X300 has been rumoured to sport a 6.31-inch 8T LTPO AMOLED with dimming capability to just 1 nit and include an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The Pro will feature a larger 6.78-inch OLED panel developed by BOE.
Additional confirmed particulars include the use of UFS 4.1 storage with an impressive 8.6GB/s just to keep it fun and a custom X-axis linear vibration motor (the most significant linear vibration motor in a Vivo device) to assist one with experience.
Vivo has teased that the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro have a new signal booster chip for cellular and WiFi connectivity enhancements.
The Vivo X300 series phone will be launched in October, and with these teasers so far, the hype has started already, and we expect plenty of teasers to develop, including further specifications, details around the cameras, and hopefully pricing in the next few weeks.
