Vivo has introduced a new budget-friendly smartphone, the Vivo Y19e. It is an entry-level device designed to expand the Y19 series, following the Vivo Y19s, which launched in Pakistan last year. Given this trend, the Y19e is also expected to arrive in Pakistan soon.

The Vivo Y19e is powered by the Unisoc Tiger T612 processor, the same chipset used in the Vivo Y19s.

Vivo Y19e specifications

It runs on Android 14 with FunTouch OS 14 and comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, expandable via microSD card. The phone features a 6.74-inch IPS LCD with 720p HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals.

One of the key highlights of the Vivo Y19e is its durability. The phone is splashproof (IPX4), dustproof (IP6X), and shockproof with MIL-STD-810H certification, a rare feature in budget smartphones.

Moreover, it also offers AI-powered camera features like AI Erase and AI Photo Enhance. The rear camera setup includes a 13MP main lens with a secondary sensor, while the front houses a 5MP selfie shooter. The camera supports 1080p video recording at 30FPS.

The Vivo Y19e is equipped with dual speakers that can amplify sound up to 200%. A side-mounted fingerprint scanner is placed on the power button for easy access. The biggest selling point is its 5500mAh battery, which Vivo claims will retain long-term battery health for up to 5 years. However, the 15W charging speed is slower than some competitors.

Vivo Y19e price in Pakistan

At $90 ( Rs25,000), the Vivo Y19e offers an impressive balance of performance, durability, and battery life. If launched in Pakistan, it could become a popular choice in the entry-level segment.
