Xiaomi Poco F7 Pro and F7 Ultra have received certification in the international market, hinting towards their imminent launch.
Poco’s midrange X series has already seen the release of two new devices this year. Still, attention has now shifted to the flagship F series, which promises cutting-edge features and performance.
Certification details and model numbers
The Poco F7 Pro and F7 Ultra have been officially approved by the Indonesian Telecom Authority, hinting at an imminent launch not only in the region but on a global scale. Both devices are identified by their model numbers: 24117RK2CG for the Poco F7 Pro and 24122RKC7G for the Poco F7 Ultra.
The suffix "G" in the model numbers signifies that these devices hints towards their global release. The Ultra variant, previously rumoured, has now been confirmed through the certification listing, making it a landmark release as Poco's first Ultra phone.
Poco and Redmi phones often overlap in design and specifications, with Xiaomi rebranding Redmi devices for the Poco lineup. In this case, the Redmi K80 is expected to be rebranded as the Poco F7 Pro, while the Redmi K80 Pro will serve as the foundation for the Poco F7 Ultra.
In reference, Redmi K80 features the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which is likely to be included in the Poco F7 Pro. However, the Poco F7 Ultra is expected to step up with the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
