Xiaomi is set to enter the world of artificial intelligence (AI) gadgets soon with its first AI-powered PC, as confirmed by the company’s president Lu Weibing.

This development follows the announcement of the Redmi Book Pro 2025 made by Ma Zhiyu, product marketing director at Xiaomi communications technology, which is rumoured to be powered by an Intel Core Ultra 5 processor.

While the official name of the upcoming PC remained unknown, Weibing revealed that the Xiaomi AI PC will be powered by a 99Wh battery.

Xiaomi’s upcoming AI-powered PC

The upcoming Xiaomi PC is expected to feature Xiaomi HyperOS Smart Connect for seamless interaction with the tech giant’s ecosystem of smartphones, tablets, and smart home devices.

The device will also be integrated with Xiaomi AI Assistant and the Xiaomi PC Manager for AI-driven productivity and automation.

Alongside AI features, the leaked specs suggested that the device will be gaming-friendly. In testing, it reportedly delivered an average frame rate of 67 fps, peaking at 75 fps, due to its well-optimised cooling system and GPU for handling demanding tasks.

Notably, in January, Xiaomi also unveiled the Redmi Book 14 and 16 2025 laptops, featuring Intel Core 5-220H processors, up to 32GB RAM, and 1TB SSD storage.
