Methods to factory reset an Echo Pop

There are two methods to reset Echo Pop. The first method is that if the user wants a soft reset that upholds the smart home connections, hold the Volume Down and Volume Up buttons together for 15 seconds. And if the user wants to perform a complete factory reset, follow these steps.

  1. Make sure the device is connected. If unresponsive, try removing and reconnecting it again.
  2. Wait until the device has fully powered on.
  3. For 25 seconds press and hold the Volume Down and Microphone Off buttons.
  4. The light bar will turn off and then back on, signifying the completion of the factory reset.
  5. Proceed to set up the Pop as if it were a new device.

Remember, a factory reset erases all personal information and saved connections on the device.
