Bringing an end to the pursuit of those eager to get their hands on Adobe Photoshop on small-screen gadgets, Adobe has finally launched Photoshop for mobile for the first time.

The historical, much-awaited debut was announced by the company on Wednesday, outlining that the widely used graphic designing and editing app is available for just $7.99 per month, Reuters reported.

Nearly three decades and a half after it was originally released in 1990, Photoshop has come a long way from just a digital image editing tool to a verb, meaning to tweak photos for enhancement.

The cheapest subscription tier of Adobe Photoshop was previously available for Apple's iPad at a price of $9.99 a month.

However, as of now, its rollout in mobile format is believed to make waves and garner a substantial user base as the premium version has been offered for just $7.99 a month.

Not only is this tier more feature-rich than the iPad version costing $10, but it also gives access to more cloud storage and the web version of Photoshop to enable editing on large screens.
