Airblue officially inaugurated a new international route on Thursday connecting Islamabad to Dammam, further strengthening air travel links between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The private carrier will offer bi-weekly flights on the route every Thursday and Saturday, with the move aimed at offering greater convenience and expanded travel options to the passengers.
The inaugural ceremony was held at Islamabad International Airport, which was attended by senior officials of Airblue, as well as airport representatives and other distinguished guests.
Speaking during the inaugural flight, Airblue's Director of Commercial Muhammad Shafique noted that the new route underpins the commitment of the carrier to meeting the increasing demand for travel between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
“Dammam is an important destination for both business and expatriate communities, and we are proud to provide a reliable connection that supports our passengers’ needs. Airblue remains committed to expanding our network and delivering exceptional service across all our routes,” he added.
With this addition, Airblue expands its international presence, further facilitating the travelling needs of Pakistani nationals.
