The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Wednesday announced all the Large Taxpayer’s Offices (LTOs), Medium Taxpayer’s Offices (MTOs), Corporate Tax Offices (CTOs) and Regional Tax Offices (RTOs) will remain open on Saturday, November 29.

In its press release shared on Facebook account, the revenue collector stated: "For the facilitation of the taxpayers, FBR has directed that all LTOs, MTOs, CTOs, and RTOs shall observe November 29 as a normal working day for the collection of duties and taxes."

It should be noted that the decision was made to facilitate taxpayers, particularly those who still need to manually file tax returns before the deadline ends.

Earlier this month, the FBR announced an extension in the deadline for manual tax return filing, marking it as one of the "special measures" to facilitate taxpayers.

"Manual filers are encouraged to visit their respective tax offices, where they will receive free assistance for registration & online return filing. Those needing legal help will be provided free legal services by FBR field offices during the current tax year," added the tax collection body.
