A new leak has surfaced ahead of Apple’s September 9 launch event, offering fresh details about the company’s upcoming product lineup.

The leak covers the anticipated AirPods Pro 3, iPhone 17, and Apple Watch Series 11, but the spotlight this time is firmly on Apple’s next-generation wireless earbuds.

According to an insider familiar with the matter, the AirPods Pro 3 are expected to include two new health sensors, one for body temperature and another for heart rate monitoring.

The inclusion of a heart rate sensor has been widely expected, especially since Apple’s Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 already featured similar technology.

However, the temperature-sensing capability is a more recent development that has generated significant speculation among industry watchers.

Following the release of an audio hearing test and clinical-grade hearing aid capabilities last year, Apple has been working to turn the AirPods Pro into a health-related device.

The addition of heart rate and temperature tracking would further enhance the role of AirPods as everyday health monitoring devices.

On the other hand, one much-anticipated feature may not arrive as soon as expected.

The same source suggests that live translation will not be ready for launch. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has also previously reported on this development. Instead, Apple is likely to roll it out in a future software update.
