Amazon updates Prime Video app on Apple TV with new features

Amazon Prime Video app now supports Apple accessibility features, such as VoiceOver, Hover Text, and Bold Text

Amazon has updated its Prime Video app on Apple TV with new features, enhancing the usage experience. The app is now better optimised for tvOS, letting you swipe on the Siri Remote to scroll through Prime Video’s shows and movies along with using touchpad gestures for fast-forwarding, rewinding, and scrubbing through content.

Moreover, Amazon has updated the app’s search feature, which will now automatically display results as you enter your search. You can also search with your voice using the Siri Remote.

The Prime Video app now supports Apple accessibility features, such as VoiceOver, Hover Text, and Bold Text. 

There are new motion and sound effects, which you’ll encounter as you browse through content, along with higher-resolution images of TV shows and movies in the Prime Video library.

Apple TV app is claimed that it provides a enhanced TV+ experience, you can also subscribe to and watch Apple TV+ from directly inside Amazon’s app.

The update is available for all three generations of the Apple TV 4K devices along with the newest version of the now-discontinued Apple TV HD.
