
The Android Auto will now specify the apps that are usable only when the vehicle is parked. The development will be introduced in the latest update of the Android Auto, coupled with a bunch of other changes being featured alongside.
The new update will marked the apps concerned with a status indicator, so the user can easily use the apps supported on the parking mode, as reported by 9to5Google.
Android Auto apps can serve various purposes, but some are only accessible when the vehicle is completely stopped and parked. An example of this is GameSnacks, a collection of touchscreen games available to Android Auto users, primarily for electric vehicles as a form of entertainment while the vehicle is charging.

When using GameSnacks and other apps, an error message will pop up if the app is used while the car is not parked, indicating the need to park the vehicle.
In the latest version of Android Auto (11.4), a "P" icon now appears on any app that requires the vehicle to be parked. This update also includes the widely launched message summaries by Google.
