Apple is expected to reveal their annual phones, the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and a new model called iPhone 17 Air on Tuesday, September 9, 2025.

Although that date is not confirmed by Apple, it is a pretty safe prediction given the pattern in past years.

The company always release new products in the second week of September, and this year doesn't appear to be any different. If that is the case, we could see pre-orders live on Friday, September 12 with an official in-store release on Friday, September 19.

This conclusion is drawn from Apple's regular release schedule moving forward, which will not change unless something holds up production.

To date, there have not been any reports suggesting that an iPhone 17 model is not launching on time. In the past, a few have been launched later than others; For example, the iPhone X in 2017. But, it appears that all four models should be ready to launch.

The most pressing question at this time is when Apple will announce the event. In the past few years, they have typically announced the events approximately two weeks prior to the date of the event. However, if the speculation is correct, Apple users could see the announcement on Tuesday, August 26.

As always, Apple prefers Tuesdays for event announcements and launches, and this pattern has held steady for the last three years. While this year’s event is still a rumour, history suggests we’re just weeks away from seeing the next-generation iPhones.
