Coming to its design, the newly launched iPad mini boasts a similar design to its previous model, with a few modifications.
One significant change is the availability of a magnetic charging region on the side of the tab to support the Apple Pencil Pro. Moreover, it is compatible with Apple Pencil by plugging a cable into the USB-C port.
The iPad mini is set to be shipped along with iOS 18 without Apple Intelligence. However, the first Apple Intelligence features including Writing Tools and the Reduce Interruptions focus mode, and more that will be rolled out with the release of iOS 18.1 is expected by the end of October.
New iPad mini price and availability
The new iPad mini is currently available in two tantalising hues such as blue, and purple only for $499, supporting a 128GB storage variant which is twice the storage of its predecessor at the same price, which is quite impressive.
