Apple has accidentally revealed details of several upcoming products after releasing a software tool last week that exposed identifiers for unreleased chips and devices.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, a wave of new hardware is expected later this year.
The report suggested that the company is working on a new HomePod mini which is likely to be powered by the S9 chip or a newer version.
Additionally, a refreshed Apple TV featuring the powerful A17 Pro chip is also expected to arrive this autumn.
Beyond that, Apple seems to be working on a new Studio Display equipped with an A19 Pro chip, signaling a significant performance boost for professional users.
Moreover, a low-cost iPad with an A18 chip is expected to be launched, along with a new iPad mini with an A19 Pro chip.
Meanwhile, Apple is reportedly testing upgraded versions of the Vision Pro headset, with models expected to feature either the M4 or the yet-to-be-released M5 chip.
Commenting on the findings in his Power On newsletter, Gurman noted that the code largely aligns with what he has been reporting for months: new Apple TV and HomePod mini models are likely this autumn, new iPads are on track for next year, and display updates are on the horizon.
If accurate, these leaks provide the clearest glimpse yet into Apple’s hardware roadmap.
