Ant Esports, a sub-brand of HKC, has launched the ANT257PF, which is the world’s first 750 Hz gaming monitor, forcing the world of competitive eSports monitors to up their game.
Recently, a few companies reached 600Hz, including AOC and MSI, and LG recently announced a 720Hz OLED gaming monitor, but Ant Esports has stepped up, surpassing the 700Hz speed barrier, to claim the title of fastest gaming monitor in the world.
Ant Esports ANT257PF specifications
The ANT257PF has been designed for those competitive gamers who insist on ultra-high refresh rates in eSports titles such as Counter-Strike 2 and Valorant, where 700+ fps are achievable using one of the more high-end gaming PCs.
Moreover, the ANT257PF has a 1080p resolution, 0.8 ms GtG response time and can do 750 Hz refresh rates in 1920x1080 (and certain other resolutions like 1280x960 and 1024x768).
In addition to speed, Ant Esports has not compromised on visuals with the ANT257PF. The display covers 95% of the DCI-P3 and 99% of the sRGB colour space with a Delta E < 2 to show great colour accuracy.
It also has a VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification, meaning six excellent colours can be experienced in a supported game or content.
In terms of connectivity, the ANT257PF has two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4, which is sufficient but not ideal; as DP 2.1 is not supported, it is incapable of transmitting uncompressed 1080p@750Hz visuals, and the display can only process 750Hz with the same JPEG compression built into all other monitors.
Nevertheless, outstanding specifications for who Ant Esports is trying to capture.
The ANT257PF will first appear as an auction item on JD.com on August 19 before it is introduced to retail in China. At this time, there is no confirmation of it being released globally.
