
With the iPhone 16 series' official launch and preorders kicking off today, a Brazilian regulatory agency has revealed the battery capacities for the entire lineup.
According to Anatel, the iPhone 16 series’ battery specifications have got a major boost compared to its predecessor, getting a significant leap forward with the new generation.

Battery capacities of iPhone 16 series
Apple’s recently unveiled iPhone 16 series includes a basic model, a plus variant, and two Pro models.
iPhone 16
The iPhone 16 has a 3,561 mAh battery, which is 6.3% up from iPhone 15.
iPhone 16 Plus
The iPhone 16 Plus gets a 4,674 mAh battery, up 6.6%.
iPhone 16 Pro
The iPhone 16 Pro gets a 3,582 mAh battery, 9.4% up from the iPhone 15 Pro’s capacity.
iPhone 16 Pro Max
However, the iPhone 16 Pro Max boasts a 4,685 mAh cell, up 5.5% from its predecessor, the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
It appears that the integration of the new A18 and A18 Pro chips as well as thermal improvements in the internal design has resulted in boosting battery life, with the major improvements seen in the Pro variants.
Additionally, Apple also revealed that the new iPhone 16 models also support upgraded MagSafe charging. With the fast charging capabilities based on a 20W USB-C power adapter, these devices can charge up to 50% in about 30 minutes.
The iPhone 16 models will be available to buy from Friday, September 20. However, the iPhone 16 Pro Max will start shipping between October 7 and October 14.
