During this year's Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), CEO Tim Cook kicked off the event by commemorating the fifth anniversary of Apple TV+.

The tech giant unveiled a new feature for Apple TV+ called InSight, which allows viewers to know actor names and song titles as they display on the screen.

Apple TV+’s new feature unfolds to be similar to Amazon’s X-Ray feature. The feature provides an overview of actor bios and behind-the-scenes (BTS) details while watching TV shows and films.

It spotlights the Apple Music playlist to listen to later. If the users want to use “InSight,” AppleTV+, they can utilise their remote to bring up a display with actor names and character details in real-time.

Moreover, they can hold up a background and filmography page for a particular actor. In addition, there’s a direct link to use the soundtrack on Apple Music.

The tech giant unveiled various upgrades to tvOS, the software running on Apple TV, which includes enhancing the audio experience by adding improved dialogue to TV speakers, receivers, Airpods, and other Bluetooth gadgets.

In addition to the exciting content announcements, Apple introduced new software updates involving visionOS, iOS 18, and macOS. With a commitment to delivering innovative entertainment experiences and cutting-edge technology, Apple continues to captivate audiences worldwide through its streaming platform and software advancements.
