
The Asus Chromebook CM14 has recently made its way to India on February 7, boasting a MediaTek Kompanio processor supplemented by a military-grade protection.
The laptop features a sleek metallic chassis with a 180-degree ‘lay-flat’ hinged display, facilitating easy content sharing with friends and peers.
The laptop is also claimed to provide up to 15 hours of battery life on a single charge. The device is available in a single memory and storage configuration and is currently being offered for purchase in the country.

The Chromebook sports a 14-inch full-HD anti-glare LCD screen with a 60Hz refresh rate, 220 nits brightness, and 16:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a MediaTek Kompanio 520 CPU, paired with an ARM Mali G52 MP2 GPU and 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The device is running Google's Chrome OS, it offers 128GB of eMMC onboard storage.
Equipped with a 720p webcam with privacy shutter and Face AE feature, the laptop features an ergonomic spill-resistant keyboard and touchpad with gesture input. Security features include face unlock, a Kensington nano security slot, and a Titan C security chip.

With a 42Wh 2-cell battery, the Asus Chromebook CM14 supports 45W fast charging and offers Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. It includes two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, a 3.5mm 2-in-1 microphone/headphone jack, and a microSD card reader. The device measures 324.6mm x 226.7mm x 18.3mm and weighs 1.45kg, according to Gadgets360.
