Islamabad's emergency services are being improved by the Capital Development Authority (CDA). Modernising Capital Emergency Services was the topic of a meeting that was presided over by CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa.

The CDA will supply state-of-the-art equipment to bolster emergency services and is requesting support from the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).

To keep an eye on emergency operations and guarantee a prompt response, a state-of-the-art Emergency Operations Centre will be built.

To improve performance, vehicles, rescue motorcycles, and drones will be made available. Watchtowers will be erected, and cutting-edge tools, such as drones, will be employed to combat forest fires.

The significance of updating emergency services was underlined by Chairman CDA. In order to increase the effectiveness of rescue operations, he ordered that professional training and staff recruitment at the Emergency Services Academy be accelerated.

Additionally, he emphasised that integrating trackers into ambulances and connecting with private ambulance services would improve response times.

The Chairman ordered more sub-stations to be built in Islamabad, with an emphasis on quick and inexpensive construction. Rescue station designs should be inexpensive and well located.

In order to handle crises right away, housing societies will also be instructed to set up rescue stations in their communities.

"The objective of these measures is to enhance the quality of emergency services for the protection of citizens in Islamabad," said the chairman of the CDA.

"All available resources will be used to equip Capital Emergency Services with modern facilities and equipment," he continued.

The goal of these modernisation plans is to guarantee the safety and protection of Islamabad's residents while also improving emergency services.

The CDA is dedicated to improving emergency response in the capital city with these improvements.
