Dongfeng Pakistan is preparing to enter the country’s electric vehicle (EV) market with the highly anticipated Dongfeng 007 electric sedan.

The company recently released a teaser image showcasing the car’s futuristic taillights and sleek modern design, signalling its arrival in Pakistan’s growing EV segment.

Dongfeng 007 features

The Dongfeng 007 comes with global specifications designed to compete with leading EVs worldwide. It features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system producing up to 400 kW and 730 Nm of torque, allowing the sedan to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds. Its driving range extends up to 580 km (CLTC), and a 3,000 mm wheelbase ensures cabin comfort for long-distance travel.

The sedan's design is both striking and practical, touting LED headlights, frameless doors, intelligent interactive taillights, a power liftgate, and a large-capacity trunk.

A lifting electric spoiler and butterfly projection lamp with three unique projection patterns further enhance both aerodynamics and visual appeal.

Inside, the Dongfeng 007 boasts intelligent luxury. Among its features are a flip-up instrument panel, 64-colour ambient lighting, and an antiviral leather multi-functional steering wheel.

The cabin supports wireless smartphone charging with 50W fast charging, combining convenience with modern connectivity.

High-level safety and autonomous systems that enhance the driving experience include Highway NOA Navigation Assist, adaptive cruise control, automatic lane changing, and real-time risk alerts.

Advanced park solutions include ultra-distance memory parking, remote parking via smartphone, and an integrated parking system for tight spaces.

Although the Dongfeng 007 boasts high performance, it is energy-efficient, with a consumption of 11.9 kWh/100 km, due to its thermal management system and full-temperature-range heat pump that improve its range in winter by 15% and reduce energy loss at low temperatures by 60%.
