
The most-awaited updates of the Final Cut Pro have finally arrived for iPad 2 and Mac 10.8.
With the Final Cut Pro updates potentially released, existing users of the software can upgrade to the latest versions of the app from the App Store.
The properties of the new Final Cut Pro corroborate those disclosed earlier this year in May.
Latest Final Cut Pro for iPhone and iPad 2
In light of the release notes for Final Cut Pro for iPad 2, the following feature-rich capabilities are incorporated:
- Live Multicam for recording up to four angles simultaneously
- Editing projects on external storage
- Pro camera mode for exposure control
- Focus peaking for sharp footage
- Colour grading presets, glitch backgrounds, soundtracks, and text titles for video enhancement
Final Cut Camera for iPhone has also been released, coming as a companion app mandatory to use the Live MultiCam feature in Final Cut for iPad 2.
Moreover, its functionality is also reliable when used as an independent software. Not only that, compared to the regular Camera app, it offers more professional controls to make changes to footage while shooting.
Final Cut Pro update for Mac
The release notes for Final Cut Pro for Mac 10.8 jotted down the following new features and error resolutions.
The update introduces new features in Final Cut Pro, including Enhance Light and Colour effect for automatic improvement of colour and brightness, Smooth Slo-Mo for slow-motion visuals on Apple silicon Macs, and organisation tools like renaming colour corrections and dragging effects. Additionally, it enhances timeline navigation and search functionalities.
Final Cut Pro for iPad 2 is available through a subscription fee of $4.99/£4.99 per month or $49/£49 per year. Final Cut Pro for Mac 10.8 has a one-time licensing fee of $299.99/£299.99.
