The Fitbit app comes with plenty of features, including Steps Widget and live wallpaper, Pixel Thermometer integration on eligible devices, and support for the Pixel Watch on Wear OS.

There is also a new Material You redesign and revamped stats pages for Sleep, Heart rate, and more. Recently, Fitbit brought forward a redesign of settings and Health Connect integration.

Users are anxiously waiting for the dark theme, which was due in October 2023. In users' discussions, this feature has been on there for quite some time, with many asking for its implementation since there is nothing said against it.

Speculation shows that Fitbit might be holding it back until all stat pages have been overhauled.

Google even teased more updates, including tighter spacing and better layout. Besides this, Fitbit Labs with Large Language Model (LLM) driven conversational data interaction should soon hit the floors.

The glaring fact at this point is that the Fitbit app has enjoyed popularity since its 100 million downloads state. Even though a dark theme is yet to be obtained from users, Fitbit is always updating and refining its features. So, with further updates down the line, Fitbit shall remain one of the leading fitness-tracking apps.
