Fortnite has officially entered Chapter 7, bringing a brand-new map and exciting gameplay changes, but four popular modes are temporarily unavailable.
The new season, called Fortnite Pacific Break, introduces 13 named locations, from hot deserts to snowy mountains, giving players plenty to explore.
Epic Games, the developer of Fortnite, confirmed that Ranked, Reload, Blitz Royale, and Fortnite OG have been temporarily removed.
These modes had become permanent due to player demand but will be offline during the first week of Chapter 7.
Meanwhile, players can enjoy Save the World, Battle Royale, Creative Mode, Fortnite Festival, LEGO Fortnite, and Rocket Racing.
Fortnite's temporarily unavailable modes
The modes that are temporarily unavailable for the players are as follows, as the good news is that the modes will return soon:
- Blitz Royale: December 4
- Ranked Mode: December 4
- Fortnite Reload: December 4
- Fortnite OG: December 11
Players who try to select one of these modes in-game are presented with a disclaimer explaining the temporary unavailability due to the destroyed Battle Bus.
Despite the temporary removal of these modes, Chapter 7 is full of new features. The simple building mechanic allows players to rebuild a structure easily, while the new wingsuit enables flying over the island to reveal every corner.
Fans can also play for a Victory Royale and unlock this season's victory umbrella glider, which makes these first weeks of Chapter 7 new for both fresh and returning players.
