Samsung has unexpectedly released a new version of its Messages app, defying earlier rumours that it would soon be discontinued.
The update, which is only available in South Korea at the moment, adds a brand-new feature called "Bubble Emoji", which automatically adds appropriate emojis to text messages according to their contextual content.
This unique feature sets it apart from Google Messages' reaction feature, which necessitates that users choose emojis by hand in order to reply to messages.
