If you own a Tesla and in case you get into a car accident no need to worry because of the new changes — which will officially be announced in the company’s 2023 Holiday Update — Tesla will be able to automatically call 911 if you get in a crash.

Tesla, last week, confirmed that the update is coming next week and it highlighted other features which include:

  1. Apple Podcasts support
  2. Rear-screen Bluetooth headset support
  3. An updated version of the park assistance with 3D visuals
  4. New blind spot indicators

Following the update, Tesla owners will be able to sync podcasts with Apple devices. Moreover, Tesla owners won’t need a separate USB stick now for every light show they want to use as the electric vehicles will be able to read them all from a single storage drive. Although the update will add B-pillar cameras to the Tesla app’s Live Sentry view, the cameras won’t record Dashcam and Sentry Mode events.

In response to a complaint registered on X, formerly Twitter, Tesla confirmed the extra features. Tesla CEO Elon Musk said: “We need to step up our game”, following a netizen comment that the update wasn’t good.
