Following its recent global release to Google Gemini users, Google is now revamping its Imagen 3 AI model to address a notable user complaint, according to a recent report.
Google Gemini Imagen 3 model update
Imagen 3 can create images in various styles, from photorealistic landscapes to textured oil paintings, with better detail, richer lighting, and fewer artefacts compared to other image generation models.
Currently, this advanced image creation model allows users to make high-quality images with a 1:1 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2048×2048.

Citing the 15.41.34.29.arm64 beta of the Google app, Android Authority reported that Google is making some changes in Imagen 3 AI’s settings, letting users select from various sizes. With this upgrade, users will able to resize the images to the most common ratio option i.e. 16:9.
To be noted, these new settings won’t simply crop the original image, instead, Gemini would go back to the original image and add to it to fill the new space.
However, users can even resize the image again, keeping the same expanded environment but with a contracted picture subject.
While the Imagen model is free for all Google Gemini users, the basic version can't create portraits or faces. For that, Google offers the Gemini Advanced version.
