The keynote, led by Google CEO Sundar Pichai, will kick off Google I/O 2025 at 10:00am PT (10:00pm PKT) on May 20. It will be livestreamed on Google’s official I/O website and YouTube channel, meaning that viewers from around the world can tune into the greatest tech conference from anywhere globally.
As for Android-specific, they shall be announced a bit earlier, during The Android Show, scheduled to take place on 13 May.
This year’s Google I/O is reported to be highlighting the company's Gemini AI models, which are expected to be deeply integrated across Google's wide-ranging product ecosystem, including Search, Cloud, Android, and a few other platforms.
First teased last year in the form of AI-powered smart glasses, DeepMind’s Project Astra, a multimodal AI system, is also on the cards for the event.
