It's been over a day since the Google I/O 2025 keynote started, with the groundbreaking disclosure of its mighty slew of insights into what the company has been on to this whole year, which comprises, but is not limited to, Android 16 and Gemini upgrades, the two biggest internet sensations the industry has been on the lookout for.
If you missed the live stream — and chances are you did, since the in-person event was exclusive to a private audience — Gadinsider has got you covered with a guide on how to watch the meritorious Google I/O 2025 Keynote.
How to watch Google I/O live
While the keynote is not open to the general public, Google has followed suit, which is the case every year: live streaming the Google I/O 2025 keynote on both Google’s landing page and YouTube. The best way to watch all the updates during the keynote is to go for the latter one.
As of the first day of Google I/O 2025, it began at 10 am PT (5:00pm UTC). Now, regarding the second and decisive final day, which is today, a countdown is being displayed on livestreams to let you know when the conference will resume.
Viewers can also watch Google I/O 2025 via Google’s website (io.google.com). Meanwhile, on YouTube, Google’s own channel will host the whole event.
Google I/O 2025 highlights

Given what has been discussed so far at Google I/O 2025, expectations are low for Android to take centre stage, as Google recently caused a frenzy by releasing a pre-recorded video showcasing Android 16’s Material 3 Expressive — along with much more.
So far at Google I/O 2025, the focus has been on development updates, including demos on Android XR glasses and features in future Gemini versions.
