Google Photos has introduced a feature that allows users to flip photos and videos horizontally. However, Google is focused on integrating mountains of artificial intelligence (AI)-powered controls, easy options like this shouldn’t be rejected.

The capability to flip or mirror your content has been offered on Samsung Gallery and other third-party gallery apps for a long time and was a blazing omission from Google Photos, while it seems this option is now set to be launched.

The option has been hitting devices widely and is now available as an extra “Flip” or “Mirror” toggle within the “Crop” section of the Photos app. Earlier, this section available tools to rotate, resize, scale, and crop your photos and videos.

You can then save a copy as this is non-destructive, letting you revert to the original or delete it if you see fit.

You will be required to use the flip tool, and then rotate to receive a vertical mirror effect as this only works for horizontal adjustments. If you upgrade to the latest version of Google Photos, you might not rapidly see the “Flip”/”Mirror” control on your device.
