The Gemini Nano AI tool is supposed to listen to all calls. The feature will also allow Pixel users to report calls manually and decide whether a call is legit or not.
This AI tool will be available on the device which makes it more efficient, unlike Gemini or ChatGPT which is present on the cloud.
The feature will only be available on devices which support Gemini Nano such as Pixel 8, Pixel 8a, Pixel 8 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S24 lineup.
Moreover, Google is also working on another feature named Lookup button which is set to make its debut on the Pixel 9 lineup. In this way, when a random number calls, you can tap the Lookup button, and it will look up the source of the phone number and let you know whether it is someone genuine or spam.
